LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
This week we will continue annotation and close reading with Tuesday being our final day of rotations. All assignments will be collected on Tuesday for a total of 25 points for the assessment. Wednesday and Thursday will be spent reviewing the TDA rubric and creating posters to represent the expectations for a perfect paper. On Friday, we will begin connecting TDA prompts with our close reading and annotation strategies. There will be no out of class homework unless work is not completed in class.
ACADEMIC ENGLISH 9:
MONDAY: Complete "Analyze the Text" (p. 730) and "Craft and Structure" (p. 731) for "There Will Come Soft Rains."
TUESDAY: In class - brainstorming and drafting narrative writing assignment.
WEDNESDAY: In class - drafting and editing narrative writing assignment.
THURSDAY: In class - revising and finishing narrative writing assignment.
FRIDAY: In class - writing final narrative writing assignment.
