November 5-9

LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
MONDAY: Completion of "The Landlady" TDA organizer.
TUESDAY: STEM Day! Candy catapults.
WEDNESDAY: STEM Day! Candy catapults.
THURSDAY: Finish up "The Landlady" TDA organizer. Begin copying final copy.
FRIDAY: Final copy of "The Landlady" turned in.

ACADEMIC ENGLISH 9:
MONDAY:  Narrative writing assignment overview and brainstorming session.
TUESDAY:  Reading of model narrative text.
WEDNESDAY: Reading of student work samples. Brainstorming and rough drafting.
THURSDAY: Show, not tell practice; story arc.
FRIDAY:  Sensory questionnaire, rough drafting.

 Please note that it is expected that you are also working on your rough draft out of class. It is a working document and will take on many different looks throughout the next two weeks. Rough drafts are due on Tuesday. Final drafts are due on Tuesday, November 20.
