LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
We will be taking ELA PSSAs this week, so there will be no out of class work. If you need to catch up on poetry, you can use your Academic Prep time to do so. In class, we will be watching a documentary and connecting the theme to our novel studies. On Thursday, we will put together our workbooks for our novel studies and re-organize our group bins.

ACADEMIC ENGLISH 9:
This week, we are working on our Holocaust survivor websites. You will have four class days this week to work and the final project is due on MONDAY, APRIL 22. Please make sure you are following the checklist on the instruction sheet as well as paying attention to the scoring rubric included in the information packet.

This week, we will continue through our review of TDAs through the Fast and the Curious. We will also continue our work with dueling poetry in our Poet vs. Poet packets. Throughout the week, we will move from working through our poems in our small groups to being able to work on them independently, making sure we can support our analysis and rating.

ACADEMIC ENGLISH 9:
MONDAY: Finish Holocaust quotes silent discussion; Section 5 discussion question review.
TUESDAY: Reader Response questions; poem study.
WEDNESDAY: Review of the themes of Night
