LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
Monday and Tuesday will be spent finishing our work with evaluating arguments through the "Join Band!" packet. By Tuesday, we should be analyzing the arguments presented in both and wrapping that analysis on Wednesday. We will then begin working with looking at conflicting information in arguments with a nonfiction passage and informational pamphlet.
CAREER EXPLORATIONS:
MONDAY: Architecture/manufacturing cluster overviews
TUESDAY: Knoebels Haunted House assignment.
WEDNESDAY: First mini-research project begins.
THURSDAY: Work on first mini-research project.
FRIDAY: First mini-research project due at the end of the period! Be prepared to share your findings.

LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
Monday and Tuesday will be spent working on the TDA for "Why I Refuse to Say I 'Fight' My Disability." You will have both days to work in class and the final copy of the TDA is due by the end of the day on TUESDAY. On Wednesday, we will begin our work with evaluating arguments. Work for this unit will be done in class.

This week, we will be working on putting together a TDA as a written assessment on word connotation and denotation and its impact on the meaning of a text. We will primarily be working in class. Be aware that the due date for the TDA is Tuesday, January 28. I will continue to update you on the schedule as we work through the week.

Tuesday will be the connotation/denotation quiz. Beginning Wednesday, we will start our mid-year benchmark. Be prepared with a book to read or work to complete when you finish your benchmark.
