On Monday and Tuesday, we will begin introducing poetry with Kobe Bryant's "Dear Basketball" and writing our own dedication poem. Wednesday will be spent putting together our poetry notes flipbook. On Thursday and Friday, we will start working through poetry analysis together.

We will be working in groups, comparing and contrasting the arguments and identifying conflicting information. The remainder of the week will be spent looking at two accounts of Paul Revere's ride and again identifying conflicting information. There is no school on Friday, February 14.

MONDAY: First mini-research project due at the end of the period! Be prepared to share your findings. (Adjusted from Friday, 2/7, because of early dismissal.)
