November 19-23

LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
This week, you are finishing your final copy of the "Sowing Community" TDA. The final copies are due on Tuesday. We will make a library trip on Wednesday to exchange or renew library books before Thanksgiving break.

ACADEMIC ENGLISH 9:
This week, you are working on finishing your final copy of your narrative. Since our schedule was modified due to the snow, your rubric will be modified as well. Your focus should be on finding places to apply the "Writing Like a Pro" techniques and "Showing, Not Telling" since those lessons were covered in class. Use your notes to guide you and use your group members to help you find places to revise. You should be including dialogue, but improper formatting of dialogue will not impact your grade since we will not have a chance to review. Final copies are due WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21, but that day will not be a day to work - it is only a day to submit.
