LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
The Frederick Douglass passage and the Study Island session are due by the end of the day (11:59 PM) on Monday. (Yes, I know it is not a student day, but both assignments were given on Tuesday of last week.) On Tuesday, we will review the Frederick Douglass passage and review for our quiz. Wednesday, you'll take a 10-question quiz on individuals, events, and ideas, and Thursday and Friday will be spent reviewing for your unit test on Monday.
CAREER EXPLORATIONS:
This week, our focus is on the Career Portfolio. The plan is as follows:
TUESDAY: Preliminary reflection; career research.
WEDNESDAY: Career research - due at end of class.
THURSDAY: Job searching - job posting should be printed by end of class.
FRIDAY: Cover letter writing.
If you are not keeping up with the deadlines, you must complete work on your own outside of class. The final portfolio will be due on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25.
