September 23-27

LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
We got a little backed up this week, so this we'll begin working with citing evidence to support inferences and generalizations. Monday will be spent learning how to complete test and/or quiz corrections. The remainder of the week, we will be working in our four rotation assignments:

  1. Independent: Study Island for inferences practice
  2. Small Group: "Two Days with No Phone"
  3. Guided Instruction: "Man on the Moon"
  4. SSR: Make an inference or a generalization about your character and/or a subject in the text.
Plan on a citing evidence to support inferences and generalizations quiz on Wednesday, October 2.



CAREER EXPLORATIONS:
On Monday, we'll put Gold E. Locks on trial for breaking and entering at the Bears' home. This trial will continue into Tuesday. We'll take the second half of Tuesday's class to review the Human Services career cluster. Wednesday and Thursday will be spent looking at the government and public administration cluster where we will create our own constitution. Friday will introduce the education cluster with a guest speaker.
