September 30-October 4

LANGUAGE ARTS 7:
On Monday, we'll wrap up our rotation assignments in citing evidence to support inferences and generalizations. We will have a whole-class wrap-up on Tuesday with a quiz on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, we'll begin our third and final mini-unit in key ideas and details which will have us looking at how elements of nonfiction text affect each other.
  1. Independent: Study Island for inferences practice
  2. Small Group: "Two Days with No Phone"
  3. Guided Instruction: "Man on the Moon"
  4. SSR: Make an inference or a generalization about your character and/or a subject in the text.


CAREER EXPLORATIONS:
Monday and Tuesday of this week we will be working on a lesson plan assignment for the education career cluster. On Wednesday and Thursday, we will look at the marketing and business career clusters and get hands-on experience by creating a subscription box. Friday will take us into hospitality and tourism cluster and we will work on creating a three-day tour of Schuylkill County.
